Treat yourself to a guiltless dessert ready for you after any meal. All is needed is are a few ingredients and very little time to make and you can enjoy this treat anytime of the week! These are great way to please your sweet tooth while not feeling guilty for diving into sugar land!
Ingredients:
Any fresh fruit that freezes well will do. Blue berries, strawberries, grapes freeze great and are easy to grab a handful and be satisfied.
1 container of Greek yogurt of choice (vanilla or any flavored yogurt works best!) . The amount of yogurt will depend on the amount of fruit you will prepare, totally up to you.
Directions:
Start by washing your fruit and lay out to dry a bit. Next, Line a baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
Using a toothpick, dip each piece of fruit into the yogurt and make sure it is evenly coated all the way around the piece of fruit. After, place each piece of yogurt covered fruit onto the lined baking sheet. Continue until all fruits are coated. *optional, you can also add slivered almonds of even chocolate shavings to some to add variety ;)
Lastly, pace baking sheet into freezer and let it freeze for at least an hour or until fruit it completely frozen.
Once frozen your frozen yogurt covered fruit can be placed in a ziplock bag and stored in the freezer for good amount of weeks. Take our and enjoy whenever.
